Trend: Students Negotiating Retweet Deals To Avoid Final Exams
(Undated) -- Some students are finding a new use for Twitter as the school year comes to a close. A high school senior in Round Rock, Texas got his art teacher to agree his class can be excused from taking the final exam if his tweet about the deal is retweeted 15-thousand times by May 23rd. A class at a Minnesota high school has to reach 50-thousand retweets to get out of taking the final in their trigonometry class. And, an Ohio State student who says on Twitter she barely went to her government class struck a deal with her professor to forego that final if she can reach 250-thousand retweets.
