Restaurant At Center Of Paula Deen Racism Scandal Suddenly Closes

(Savannah, GA) -- The Georgia restaurant at the center of celebrity chef Paula Deen's racism scandal is now closed. Uncle Bubba's Seafood & Oyster House in Savannah shut its doors Thursday. Uncle Bubba's was owned by Deen's brother. One of the restaurant's former employees filed a lawsuit against Deen last year accusing her of racial and sexual discrimination. Deen ended up admitting publicly that she had used racial epithets years ago and subsequently lost many advertisers.
