Obama Hopeful About Immigration Reform

(Washington, DC) -- President Obama is "modestly optimistic" that immigration reform can get done this year. In a Google-Plus Hangout online, the President said he is encouraged by movement among House Republicans toward immigration reform.
The Senate passed a sweeping, bipartisan reform bill last year but some House Republicans criticized it as too broad. The House will likely try a more piecemeal approach.
