NBC To Televise First iHeartRadio Music Awards
(Los Angeles, CA) -- The stage is being set for the first-ever iHeartRadio Music Awards. NBC and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment are teaming up to televise the three-hour event from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on May 1st. Showcasing the biggest artists and songs of the year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards will feature live performances, celebrity guest appearances and award presentations in 13 different award categories as determined by votes from iHeartRadio listeners. The awards follow another successful staging of the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last fall and the upcoming iHeartRadio Country Festival in Austin, Texas on March 29th.

In addition to its NBC telecast, the iHeartRadio Music Awards will also be broadcast and streamed live across participating Clear Channel radio stations, websites and on iHeartRadio. Nominee finalists will be announced during a one-hour special live event on March 26th at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles. Fans will then vote to determine the winners.
