Man Convicted Of Murdering Redskins Player

(Miami, FL) -- A man is facing life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder in the 2007 killing of Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor. A jury in Miami today convicted Jason Mitchell of first-degree murder and armed burglary. The jurors deliberated three and a-half hours before rendering their verdict. Mitchell is the second player to go to trial for Taylor's murder.
Eric Rivera was convicted last November of second-degree murder and other charges. He was sentenced to 57 years behind bars.
