Judge Rules In Favor Of Casey Kasem's Wife In Latest Court Battle
(Los Angeles, CA) -- The wife of radio icon Casey Kasem has won the latest battle in her fight with Kasem's children over the care of the former "America's Top 40" host. A Los Angeles judge ruled Monday that 82-year-old Casey Kasem should be fed and continue to be given medicine while he's hospitalized in Washington state. Jean Kasem has been trying to keep her husband in Washington, while Kasem's daughter, Kerri, has been trying to get her father moved back to California after being given temporary conservatorship powers for her father last month. A hearing is now scheduled for Friday to consider a petition by Jean Kasem to once again become her husband's temporary conservator.

Jean and Kerri Kasem have been battling for months over the care of the radio legend. Casey Kasem suffers from a disease similar to Parkinson's disease and is in critical condition at a Washington state hospital. His children have been claiming that Jean Kasem has worked hard to keep them from seeing their father.
