Giants' Manning Says Ankle Healing Nicely

(East Rutherford, NJ) -- New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning says his ankle is healing nicely after offseason surgery.

The two-time Super Bowl MVP injured the ankle in the second quarter of the team's Week 17 matchup against the Washington Redskins. Manning says having the surgery when he did assures that he'll be ready for the start of training camp in July. Manning also says he's not worried about falling behind in learning the offense of new coordinator Ben McAdoo. The Giants will hold a three-day, mandatory mini-camp from June 17th through the 19th.
