(Washington, DC) -- The Republican Party is taking a beating in a new poll regarding overall performance. According to a new NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, just 22 percent see the GOP in a positive light, while 53 percent view the party negatively. Congress also isn't very popular, with 63 percent of voters wanting to replace their own member of Congress, whether they are a Democrat or a Republican. Pollsters say public frustration with Washington overall continues to grow, with issues like the NSA spying allegations, the debate over Syria, the government shutdown and the Affordable Care Act troubles.
