(Undated) -- California's Supreme Court says an undocumented immigrant should be allowed to practice law. The court ruled in favor of a Mexican immigrant Sergio Garcia. A new state law took effect that authorizes the high court to allow qualified applicants into the state bar, regardless of their immigration status. Garcia was brought to the U.S. illegally when he was a toddler and is still waiting for a green card that he was approved for 19 years ago. This has been a closely watched case on immigration rights.
