Death Toll Climbs From Storms In Illinois

(Chicago, IL) -- The death toll is rising from a line of tornadoes and severe storms ripping across the Midwest. The Illinois Department of Emergency Management says at least five people have died in that state. Dozens of others have been injured and tens of thousands are without power. The storm system stretched from Tennessee to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Hundreds of flights have been affected and tens of thousands attending the Bears football game at Soldier Field had to scramble for cover as an evacuation order was put in place. Storm damage is also evident in Indiana, Ohio and Missouri.
