Bernier's OT Tally Lifts Devils Past Sabres

(Newark, NJ) -- Steve Bernier scored with less than a minute to go in overtime lifting the Devils to a 1-0 win over the Sabres at the Prudential Center. Cory Schneider turned away all 15 shots he faced to record his second shutout this season and the 11th of his career. New Jersey has won two straight since a three-game slide. Jhonas Enroth turned away 23 shots for Buffalo in defeat. The Sabres have dropped six out of their last seven games.
