(Dallas, TX) -- Jimmy Howard made 44 saves to lead the Red Wings to a 5-1 win over the Stars at American Airlines Center. Henrik Zetterberg scored twice for Detroit, which had lost three of its previous four games. The Wings improved to 19-14-and-10. Rich Peverley scored the only goal for the Stars. Dallas replaced starting goalie Dan Ellis after one period with Kari Lehtonen . The two combined for 22 saves. Dallas has lost three of four to fall to 20-14-and-7.
