Amanda Knox Promises To Fight Murder Conviction

(Undated) -- Amanda Knox is asking for understanding and support as events unfold following her second murder conviction. Knox told ABC's "Good Morning America" she's going to fight the ruling until the very end. The former study-abroad student and her Italian ex-boyfriend were found guilty a second time by an Italian court for the 2007 murder of British student Meredith Kercher. Knox, who did not attend the trial, was previously acquitted by an appeals court in 2011. She was sentenced Thursday to 28-and-a-half-years in jail.
