(Undated) -- Climate change could pose a serious threat to economic growth, a new study claims. The annual Climate Change Vulnerability Index says the impacts of climate change pose "high" to "extreme" risks for countries producing nearly a third of the world's economic output. The study says risks are highest in 67 countries including India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. It defines extreme climate events as developments including flooding, storm surge, cyclones, and landslides.
