(Undated) -- Marvel Comics is joining forces with Netflix to launch four superhero series for the video streaming service. The series will revolve around the superheroes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, and will begin streaming in 2015. Thirteen-episode season were ordered for each series. The Marvel-Netflix partnership also includes the mini-series event "The Defenders," which will follow the launch of the four series. The relationship furthers Netflix's move toward more original programming like its critically acclaimed hits "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black."
