Man Guilty In SA's Largest Ever Fraud Case

(San Antonio, TX) -- A San Antonio man charged in what prosecutors say is the largest ever fraud case in West Texas is looking at a possible 20-year prison sentence. Charles Pircher pleaded guilty yesterday to fraud conspiracy charges related to payroll services and workers compensation insurance. Prosecutors say the 60-year-old ran a payroll business scheme with a disbarred lawyer that swindled small businesses and taxpayers out of more than 133-million dollars.
